Marangona’s Lugana is made from a grape in the Verdicchio family, sometimes called Trebbiano di Lugana, sometimes called Turbiana. This vintage is fermented in stainless steel on its lees, giving the wine lovely mid-palate texture to offset the vibrant acidity that knits it all together. Notes of almonds and fresh herbs, citrus and apricot meld beautifully with substantial minerality.
